How many smart mirror OQC inspection items are there in Vercon factory?
A lot of clients are interested in knowing the smart mirror OQC inspection items in the Vercon factory. As a response, we will list all the OQC(Outgoing Quality Control) inspection items in this page.
The basis of OQC is the SIP (Stand Inspection Procedure) which is an internal instruction converted from the client’s inspection standard by our QE team. Then our QE team sends the SIP to the OQC team. OQC staff conducts the inspection according to SIP, product drawings and approved samples.

Visual check of product appearance:
| 1. Check the logo and text silk printed on the product. Record defects if any: Wrong printing, missing printing, mess printing, hazy printing. |
| 2. Check the capacitive touch screen of the product. Record defects if any: Blot, smudge or even dirty spot; scratches; cracks; low printings; light leaks. |
| 3. Check the LCD screen of the product. Record defects if any: Black spot, dark spot, bright spot, shadow, stains. |
| 4. Check the metal shell of the product. Record defects if any: Scratches, deformation, paint chipping, structure defect. |
| 5. Check the screws of the product. Record defects if any: Unmatched screw, screw missing, screw loose, screw slip. |
The functions inspections:
| 1. The touch inspection. Record defects if any: Breakpoint, jump point. |
| 2. The light color inspection. Record defects if any: Abnormal color, incorrect color. |
| 3. The WiFi inspection. Record defects if any: abnormal connection, connection interrupt. |
| 4. The wired network inspection. Record defects if any: Abnormal wired network connection (In the status of disconnected WiFi). |
| 5. The Bluetooth connection inspection. Record defects if any: Abnormal BL connection. |
| 6. The USB connection inspection. Record defects if any: Abnormal USB connection. |
| 7. The speaker inspection. Record defects if any: Noise, abnormal sounds. |
| 8. The motherboard and basic SW inspections. Record defects if any: Wrong motherboard, wrong software version, wrong ram or rom. |
| 9. The camera and app inspections. Record defects if any: Abnormal camera function, wrong app, app missing. |
The power supply voltage inspection:
| The power supply voltage inspection. Record defects if any: The product needs to work normally in the voltage range AC 220V ± 33V without any system adjustment. |
The Dielectric Withstand test:
| The Dielectric Withstand test. Record defects if any: From the power input terminal to the bare components on the product shell, all parts need to pass the AC 1.5KV, 45~65HZ Dielectric Withstand test. Test duration: No voltage breakdown & No voltaic arc within 60 seconds. |
The aging test:
| 1. Full load test. Record defects if any: The product needs to continue to work normally(No system stuck or system crash) after a 48-hour full-load working test. |
| 2. The temperature endurance test. Record defects if any: In normal working conditions, the temperature of each bared part should not exceed 70 ℃. Moreover, the temperature of each component should not exceed its rated value after a 4-hour of continuous work. |
| 3. The High-temp test (Indoor-using product). Record defects if any: There should be no electrical failure, structure deformation or power supply poor contact after an 8-hour High-temp environment(55℃±2℃) test. The product keeps functional during or after the test. Moreover, before the test, the product had gone through a 2-hour working test with an indoor-installed power supply. |
Visual check of the packing:
| 1. Check the nameplate and labels. Record defects if any: On the product back, there should be a corresponding nameplate, the “PASS” label, and the tear-proof label. |
| 2. Check the accessories. Record defects if any: In the master carton, there should be complete accessories including the accessory products, the product specifications, the user manual, and the warranty card. No wrong accessory. No missing accessory. No abused accessory. |
| 3. Check the inner sponge and master carton. Record defects if any: The product should be fixed and protected by EPE foam in the master carton. The EPE foam and the master carton should be clean, dry and intact. |
| 4. Check the labels and shipping marks on the master carton. Record defects if any: All the information on carton labels and shipping marks should correspond with the actual product and the shipping order. |
| 5. Check the Fragile Label. Record defects if any: There should be Fragile Label on the master carton. |
In Vercon factory, the general smart mirror OQC inspection process is:
Sampling → Inspection → Judge → Shipment
We will record each defect and the corresponding product S/N number. Each “NG” product will be reworked or replaced with “PASS” product to meet the OQC requirement.
Most manufacturers always manage to improve the Yield Rate. Without a strict OQC inspection and pre-shipment control, the potential defect would hurt clients’ businesses and reputations more or less.
